The Story Behind the ikani™ Label

While Oger Knits made its mark by manufacturing millions of high-durability uniforms for premier schools, hospitals, and industrial conglomerates, our leadership team recognized an unfilled void in everyday consumer knitwear:

Most retail t-shirts either look too casual for corporate office settings or feel rigid, scratchy, and uncomfortable after a couple of wash cycles. Conceived and personally champion-guided by Founder Athel Kani, the ikani™ label was born out of our Tiruppur knitting floors to synthesize high-tensile industrial craftsmanship with cloud-like personal luxury.
